Unusual uses for toothpaste
In a previous entry, we brought up the popular “toothpaste-on-pimples” home remedy. But there are even more unconventional things you can use the toothpaste for, and we’ll tell you all about it!
You can use toothpaste to:
Fight pimples
Toothpaste can be put onto pimples in order to dry them out. As the surrounding skin also gets dehydrated, it’s not something we recommend doing on a daily basis. But it can truly be a lifesaver for special occasions!
Soothe mosquito bites
Putting toothpaste on a mosquito bite can help to relieve the itchiness and suppress the swelling.
Remove stains
If you get a stain on your gorgeous outfit and don’t have time to clean it, you can try toothpaste! Rub a little bit of toothpaste and water onto the stain, and it is said to disappear!
Clean silver jewelry
Cover your jewelry with toothpaste and let it sit overnight. Polish off the toothpaste with a damp cloth the day after.
Clean your keyboard and phone screen
Use a soft cloth with some toothpaste and water on it, and polish the keyboard or phone screen gently to remove dirt and stains.
Isn’t it cool that toothpaste can be used for so many purposes? Do you have any other tips on what toothpaste can be used for? Let us know in the comments section below! But don’t forget to use your toothpaste for its most essential purpose – to take care of your teeth! 😊
